"... emotionally expressive ... is infused with
strains of infectious jump blues, soul blues, raw blues
shouting and echoes of gospel". --Blues Access.
Contains the potential new state song, "Florida's
Song".

His performances interpret blues at its best, from fast-paced
shuffles to foot-stomping rockers to mournful, slow
blues. His playing and singing evoke the healing power
of the blues.

The Guitar Man
Jody Butler more than fills the main rhythm guitarist position
in the James Butler Band. He plays a unique blues style of
dobra guitar utilizing an alternative tuning called the “Butler
Method”. Jody hails from the small town of Sumatra,
Florida and he is also the crazy voice behind Sweetwater Fox
that you hear on the Blue Sushi Radio Show ads. Hear Jody’s
scratch demos on the BSR Artist show. Listen Monday—Friday
